26 hours in the airport was not a very good start to the entire exchange...
maybe I just need to be thankful..
Our changi airport really rocks..
I never did kind of appreciated the beauty of our airport..
yes.. I so taken it for granted..
spent about 6 hrs stuck at washington DC airport (because of United's delayed flight)
the airport's sad.. and I tot WDC would be like a very crowded and lively place in the US..
well.. I tot wrong..haha
my buddy Chris was really nice..
picked me and YengYong (YY) from the airport, picked our combinations.
My hostel is really really far from the main campus area.. and because we arrived in Boston so late.. I bulked over at YY's room..
I also robbed my buddy of his comforters and blankets so that I can sleep decently on the couch..
I'll just have to follow thru the orientation program now..
the halls here are really alot nicer..
I'm still trying to get to know the people.. haha.. alot of them are actually younger then me.. but they look alot older and bigger.. esp the european exchange students..
oh.. the serving for food here is huge..
I had half of half a wrap and I was full..
and hot coffee has become my best friend..
I need to get boots.. they are so much friendlier with the snow..
probably planning a shopping trip to town this weekend..
oh.. i went for my first party today.. haha..
at Tanya's room (a girl at Bentley)..
She was a nice host..
Me, YY and Felicia(Austrian exchange girl) had to go get the alcohol for them...
weird rights.. they are really strict about alcohol comsumption for above 21..
and more of our buddy are under 21..
yes... they were happy to have exchange students like us.. haha (i think)

btw alcohol is cheap here..
Volka is about US$13 for 1.5L
Corona is US$14 for a dozen bottles
Wine is about US$7
I'm a happy girl..
oh.. we played card games at the party...
and me and YY taught them '5-10'
they liked it.. haha..
it's an exchange
